    [Highly rated reviewer]

Sorry don't agree with the other reviews,

This is a British film made the way films should be, no dark scene's all very nicely done, it is British so you know the budget was low.

Very well acted Direction very nice. Four guy's go on a trip and its the four of them all the way though, Did not want to buy the film but did not feel that I want my money back or want to go out and shoot myself, I've seen to many British film where nothing happen's and you feel that you lost two hour's of your life.

    Watch this film.

Benedict Cumberbatch is the most amazing actor, he captures the raw emotion of losing someone you love with grace. This is film is INCREDIBLE, a must see!

  • Exquisitely brilliant and beautiful film.

As the film ended I found myself stunned, really shocked by how utterly brilliant it is. It is such a perfect little story and so perfectly balanced - the humour, the sadness, the trivial, the deeper bits, the relationships of the 4 friends, the reality of what is actually happening. It is not a huge story, just a simple story of something that happens over a couple of days, and this simplicity is absolutely all that is needed and adds to the beauty of the story. And of course the 4 leads are excellent and perfect (with no bias even though one is a friend!)

  • Love & Friendship-nothing else needed

Beautiful blend of love, friendship, pain & place. Superb acting from the 4 leads with exactly the right balance between laughter & sadness.

Barrafundle Bay is exactly the sort of location that I can imagine as a final destination-it's just so beautiful. It is captured in all that beauty by the camera work & Hattie Dalton's delicate direction . Vaughn Sivell's script is about a place he knows & loves & that is evident throughout this film.

  • Laughs and tears in equal measure

    Rated - 3.5 stars

I really liked this. It was much funnier than I'd expected and, as a result, more moving when it needed to be. The characters are convincing old friends and the film doesn't trowel on the sentiment as many films with a dying character feel the need to. I particularly liked JJ Feild as Miles, a prickly character who can be depended on to bring a laugh and a caustic one liner whenever proceedings seem to be heading towards a group hug!

Also - the short film in the extras - Judgement Day - is brilliant! Check it out!

Just awful. I could tell after 5 minutes that I did not care about the people in it or what happened to them. It's just sentimental tosh and self indulgent.
