Oops.. the Turkeys arrived in time for ChristmasBy PaulaWestwood (397 reviews) from Ashton-Under-Lyne , 03 Dec 2007
[Highly rated reviewer]Ermmmm this says Christmas about as much as the Easter Bunny does I'm afraid, every year there seems to be one or two outstanding christmas films, and one sure fire turkey, and this is the latter. Based around an African American family getting together, forgiving, forgetting and tying all those loose family ends together to bring festive cheer and togetherness. Unfortunately it has too many cliches, too little humor and just nowhere near enough Christmas about it. I guess that just about wraps this one up, if your going to treat yourself to anything this year, dont add this to your list, as it is worse than a boxing day hangover, sorry to say. Not recommeded.

yawnBy a customer from crowthorne , 21 Mar 2009not to be watched outside christmas season. its really a lacklustre xmas movie with vacuous characters, no no no.
happy familiesBy a customer from Southampton , 21 Mar 2009This was a great and very true take on family christmas's now ,where everyone has their own life but christmas is all about family. the love, the squabbles and tears. some brillant twists and turns which i didn't see coming. great movie to get you in the christmas spirit.
Good LaughBy a customer from england , 15 Mar 2009This was good laugh, could relate to this with my own family.
GoodBy a customer from Glasgow , 08 Mar 2009Fun look at family life. Plenty of issues, lots of stuff happening but with a feelgood feeling despite all the drama. Good collection of actors & actresses. Rare in the fact that most of the characters have a full-on story going on rather than just one or two (and its a large family!) Interesting to watch the intersections of those stories (like a real family!). Not too stereotypical either in that its not like there are just good and bad characters, more like you can see the good and bad in each of them as the film progresses. Feel good film with a lot more going on than in most!
