This Ugly Yet Beautiful World - Vol. 1
The acclaimed animation studio Gainax (NEON GENESIS EVANGELION) continues its run of groundbreaking anime series with THIS UGLY YET BEAUTIFUL WORLD. The series centres around a deeply pessimistic slacker named Takeru, who has given up on ever finding the perfect girl or any kind of meaning in his life. But Takeru's world soon brightens up on both fronts when he saves the life of a mysterious, amnesiac girl and discovers that he has the ability to transform into a powerful superhero. Alternating intense action sequences with racy sexual comedy, the stunningly animated series kicks off with these first four episodes.

Great start!
Very good start to what will hopefully be an excellent series. Could have done with alot more action in the later episodes but this is definately worth a watch. I wasn't sure about the design for when one of the kids goes super-powered, but the super cuteness of the character, actually make his bloodlust all the more horrific. Hope this is a teme that continues through the series.

Great start!
