    Brilliant

My son {and I} were glued to this DVD has the story hasn't been shown on TV yet.

It features Diesel 10 who 'we' had only learnt about from the Thomas and friends website. It's length about an hour is just right for his age, 4yrs.

We watch the DVD along with playing with the Thomas Calling All Friends train set to set the scene. It's about the building of the new Sodor Airport in which they all have fun tormenting the Diesel engines and run the risk of having no holiday makers come to Sodor which makes them sad and work together to get the job done just in time for the first aeroplane landing.

He would have liked some 'interactive' puzzles included in the extra features though.

    a mixed review

I'd wanted to get this for ages as my son (4) was a huge Thomas fan ... still is (sort of) - anyway - it's not as good as I expected . Thing that I didnt like was the constant interuptions - ie irritating songs and games/questions. I guess theyre trying to make it educational but in my opinion it spoils it.

However my son seemed to like it - though not as much as other kiddy dvds weve had out. Probably wouldnt get it again.
