More hyped up action than storytelling

This is a collection of the latest version of the Thomas stories and in my view it's neither in the spirit nor the atmosphere of the original stories. Most of the stories are newly created with annoying voices and, worst of all, hyperactive action scenes that completely miss the gentle tone of the original stories or earlier screen versions. Your average 2yr old may not mind but as a parent I disliked this one I'm afraid.- Was this review helpful to you?
