The film--which uses more computer graphics than previous Don Bluth films--tells the fable of the Hans Christian Andersen heroine Thumbelina (Jodi Benson), a tiny girl born to a childless woman from a flower. Longing to find someone her size, she falls in love with a fairy prince, Cornelius (Gary Imhoff), only to be kidnapped by a band of show business toads and their singing Ma (Charo). That's just the beginning of Thumbelina's adventures and her quest to be reunited with her prince--and it's an adventure filled with danger and excitement.

The graphics of this movie are not 'disney' quality. However, the film is fun and my 3 and 6 year old seemed to enjoy it. The music in it is certainly disney quality and there are one or two song/dance sequences that are quite captivating.
I would recommend this one, but don't expect the stunning visuals of disney.
