Thunder Bords

Trite, sentimental, bad makeup. Some of the aerial acrobats may interest but well below director William Wellman's standard. He was later to make the great The Best Years of our Lives.
A film made about wartime training of pilots with all the lack of reality of a country which had not yet experienced Pearl Harbour.- Was this review helpful to you?

(2)Dull and Boring: not even Gene Tierney can liven it up!
By CaliGirl (22 reviews) from Britain , 05 Jun 2011I only watched this movie because I love Gene Tierney, but it was a bit of a disappointing movie. Was clearly made as a feel good movie during the Second World War, but it's a bit of a dud. Not much happens at all, and wouldn't really recommend.- Was this review helpful to you?
