    [Highly rated reviewer]

Trite, sentimental, bad makeup. Some of the aerial acrobats may interest but well below director William Wellman's standard. He was later to make the great The Best Years of our Lives.

A film made about wartime training of pilots with all the lack of reality of a country which had not yet experienced Pearl Harbour.

  • Dull and Boring: not even Gene Tierney can liven it up!

I only watched this movie because I love Gene Tierney, but it was a bit of a disappointing movie. Was clearly made as a feel good movie during the Second World War, but it's a bit of a dud. Not much happens at all, and wouldn't really recommend.
