It seems that Gerry ...
By a customer from BIDEFORD , 07 Sep 2004[Highly rated reviewer]
It seems that Gerry Anderson was beginning to run out of ideas by the time he made this, the final film with the famous Thunderbirds. It suffers from the same faults that plagued the recent movie - too much character development and not enough focus on the machines. With real actors, character development is imperative, but when you're dealing with puppets, it works best when you take the focus away from the characters, as plastic people can't have much personality! The action scenes work well, but there are big gaps between them that the kids may get bored with - after all they just want to see the rockets! Still worth watching though.- Was this review helpful to you?

(6)Thunderbird 6
By a customer from Chester , 06 Jan 2009The first hour or so of this film is pretty dull, and there isn't anything going on in the way of rescue action. However, the end is one of those knuckle in the mouth rescue moments that fans of the show wil enjoy.- Was this review helpful to you?

Lady Penny
By a customer from bexhill , 03 Oct 2006Well what a character, she really is the heroine what a role model for all the little girls out there. Makes a change to Barby. This film is a lot more story than action but really we all watch thunderbirds for the tension and the rescue, which was somewhat lacking here- Was this review helpful to you?

Memorable
By a customer from Rotherham , 12 Jul 2006Not being a fan myself, this film was for the kids. However I really enjoyed watching it and it brought many memories of how good movies used to be.- Was this review helpful to you?

uneventful
By Dave Dog from chelt NHAM , 03 May 2005My 3 year old loves thunderbirds & is normally rooted to it, but this didn't hold his attention at all. Starts off OK but wanders. I found it pretty drab too.- Was this review helpful to you?
