TV Episodes restored

I was quite surprised on watching this DVD,Loved the 60's series on TV and I was quite pleased to see the addition of Dolby 5.1 and a nice clean picture,Good menus and plenty of fact files on the series.
This is disc one in the entire series and all are well worth watching with some discs having interactive sections too.
Still as good as I remember...Excellent!- Was this review helpful to you?

(7)5 4 3 2 1!
By hairyboy (5 reviews) from London , 04 Dec 2011'Thunderbirds' followed 'Stingray' as Gerry Anderson's next big hit. It was the first children's show to have occupied an hour of airtime.
Jeff Tracy is a retired astronaut, who creates the Thunderbirds, five giant, air, sea, and spacecraft, with his five sons at the helm, to help where regular rescue services just don't have the resources.
Lady Penelope Creighton-Ward, her chauffeur, Parker ('You rang, b'Lidy?'), and their giant pink Rolls-Royce, were also stars of the show.
'Thunderbirds' must be in any DVD collection.- Was this review helpful to you?

Superb trip back into childhood
By Danno01 (31 reviews) from Hastings , 20 May 2010The world changes, but Thunderbirds lives on. Puppets, no CGI, but still outstanding special effects.A true tour de force.
And the censors would cringe at this now, bandages with blood, Lady Penelope smoking and drinking Pernod in Paris. And this is a kids programme!
Return to your childhood, its worth the trip.
Finally to surmise, so good, I've just bought the box set :-)- Was this review helpful to you?
