To call this comedy is fraud.
This review is for the first half only. I simply couldn't tolerate any more.
I realise that opinions are subjective, but I'd like to know how any sentient being can give this disturbing dross more than one star without first having consumed an entire shipment of mind-altering substances.
The content is dire, to say the least - totally devoid of any intellect. It's the sort of drivel my drunken uncle would spurt out to embarrass me in front of friends.
I would be more forgiving if there was something cheeky or curious or clever about the delivery. But there isn't. It's poorly rehearsed and there's no apparent continuity. His complete lack of talent and professionalism means that to even consider comparing him to any of the greats (Izzard, Moran, Evans, etc.) is outright sacrilege.
My only gratitude is for the fact that I only paid a rental fee for this title, and not the full purchase price.
Buy this ONLY for someone who persistently enrages you. NEVER for yourself. Don't say I didn't warn you. -

King Of One Liners
A cheaply recorded DVD, in a small comedy club, but the comedian saves this from being a shoddy enterprise. Vine's simple, often pun-based one-liners come thick and fast - he holds the world record for most jokes per minute, and it's the speed as much as the groaners that makes your laugh out loud.
After watching this I went to sleep on a bed of rice. I fell asleep as soon as my head hit the pilau.
