Not for me

I love the James Cameron epic, it just oozes quality as soon as you start watching it. This new television version wasn't my sort of thing at all. Too many miserable whiny characters with boring dialogue. The acting was generally fine, but to be fair there were some surprisingly poor moments when certain characters reactions didn't feel at all correct, and lines weren't delivered all that well. When the big event of the iceberg finally happened, I expected it to get better but to be honest it didn't. It wasn't the exciting moment I had imagined it would be at all and there was no believable feeling of absolute chaos that there should have been when the people started to realize there weren't enough boats etc. I was looking forward to this and unfortunately found it completely disappointing. The James Cameron version is far bigger and better in every way.- Was this review helpful to you?
