A gentle comedy with a good plot line.

This gentle comedy has many character actors which became household names in the late 50s & 60s. Ideal for all the family to watch even if it is in black & white. Good acting and story line keeps the pace going. Shelley Winters is fun to watch with a bit of over the top acting as an American night club singer. John Gregson's harassed song writer character works well, much as his other characters in later films. Overall pretty good.- Was this review helpful to you?
