If you have a 3ds then pick this up and give it ago

This game is a fun game for the 3ds if you like the splinter cell games. I admit this game does not have the best graphics but graphics doesnt make a game. The 3d to this game work well and it is playable with it on. Its fun and very enjoyable but with one bad thing and that is the camera angle I found it annoying to use but you will get use to it. If you want a game that is fun and challenging in places them pick this up. If you just want to play a diiferent game on the 3ds then give this a go 4/5 good game with good gameplay. lazy lazy lazy
By majortom666 (71 reviews) from London , 12 Sep 2011In a move thats becoming depressingly familiar from ubisoft, a several year old game has been grabbed off the shelf to be ported for a console launch.
In this case its a classic - splinter cell chaos theory, indisputably the best of the series and one of the best stealth games ever made.
So whats the problem?
Well, where to start. The lack of a second analogue stick renders the game almost unplayble. Even if you do get used to the clunky controls the dire framerate will have you blundering around like an oaf, not a super spy. The graphics make a passable impression of the original game but the 3d effect is barely noticeable and adds nothing to the game. Plus, the large levels of the original ave been cut down noticeably and the excellent online multiplayer of the original has been completely removed.
The final slap in the face is the full retail price tag. Avoid like the plague!- Was this review helpful to you?

Really Surprised

Very impressed with the game Splinter Cell I really enjoyed playing every minute i dont understand why there are so many negative reviews around the net about this 3ds game but i really liked the 3d feature i could tell the difference when i switched the 3d on and off.
Really good gameplay and i found the controls easy to use and quick to remember.
All gadgets and options were sorted through the touch screen so i only really had to focus on the top screen the aim of game is stealth type so i didnt need to look down to pull out a gun or a melee attack on someone because the controls were nicely responsive for me.
5 star rating from me really enjoyed it a might give at another go or purchase it in the future!

Lazy porting makes for dull play
By a customer , 13 Apr 2011This game is a poor excuse for a 3DS game. For a start, it is in fact a port of a DS game with extremely minor updates. The 3DS is capable of graphics approaching the level of the 360, so there is no reason that this game should be such a shoddy version of an original XBox game.
