Next to 'Blue and the Green', this is probably the best of the 1970s classic Kids' Sci-Fi series. The plot is quite well constructed, has a bit of suspense, and some quite good acting, especially from Trevo Bannister as the villain. As a DVD, it has few special features, the most entertaining being the cast commentary: an amusing demolition of the programme, with tongues firmly in cheek! A nostalgic and fun hour and a half.
This intro music is what I remember most about the series. It is still the best thing, followed by plot. The rest leaves a lot to be desired. Had a good game of 'spot the actor who went on to do better'.
