Streetwise brothers, Vic and Baz are challenged to a car race, They "borrow" their boss's Jaguar from the South London garage where they work, but they, and it, end up in the river Thames. To pay off their debt, they are forced to work the night-shift at a cleaning company in London's financial centre 'The City'. Vic soon realises that the documents they spend all night shredding contain information that could make them a fortune so they devise a plan to get a foot in the door and their trading days begin. Vic and his brother are in their element living the high-life with fast cars, fast girls and a Champagne lifestyle they could never have imagined. But rivalry and jealousy amongst colleagues and the establishment eventually join forces in an attempt to bring down these upstarts...
