Warning Avoid Like The PlagueBy Nathalie from Sleaford,Lincolnshire , 09 Mar 2009
[Highly rated reviewer]Avoid Tooth & Nail if you see this dvd on the shelves run & hide but for f*cks sake dont rent this movie,it has been going under the label of 8 films to die for, hangs out in rental stores as a cannibal shocker, post apocalypse movie and we all like those.Dont we?
Films like this give horror a bad name,it makes Albert Pyun movies look epic, makes me appreciate Wrong Turn 2, in fact makes we wish i could get those 90 minutes back again,
the budget went on Michael Madsen and Vinnie Jones, with props and costumes straight out of a cut price film props store and charity shop,i hate this movie,i hate it the more i think of it.
Vinnie jones i was hoping was going to redeem himself even more after his performance in Midnight Meat Train, but this makes me want to smack that dollar sign right off his chops, you will to if you have seen this movie.
I mean the whole class act in this movie is michael Kelly who played CJ in Dawn of the Dead, what was he doing in this movie? he was in changeling.
Thats it im going before i explode!

Drive a Hybrid save the world (well, maybe)By TheWatchman (743 reviews) from Suburbia , 21 Jan 2013Tooth and Nail is one of those ever-growing number of apocalypse films, depicting a bleak futuristic world filled with... well, nothing much really broken down buildings and empty roads. In this case, as the narrator explains to us in the opening monologue, it wasnt a comet or nuclear war that wiped out humanity, it was a lack of petrol (or gas as its set in America). Um, okay, its best to just take that at face value for the purposes of watching the film. In fact, its probably best to get your mind in the frame of watching most of it in that way (if you want to have any hope of enjoying it). We meet a small band of survivors who have taken refuge in a large inner-city hospital and who spend their days desperately searching for food. However, they come a cropper when they bump into a ruthless band of cannibals, hell bent on having them all for breakfast, lunch and dinner. And there you have it, its a stand off movie think Assault on Precinct 13, but without the huge cult following. Now, I normally hate movies (typically horror movies) where the heroes due stupid things, like run back into the haunted house instead of calling the police. I should warn you that there are plenty of these moments in Tooth and Nail. Yet, for some reason, I couldnt find it in me to hate this film. Ive turned off many a movie for stupid characters, but I sat through this in its entirety. Granted its no classic. If you check out the other reviews youll find more than your fair share of hate directed towards it. However, if you lower your expectations significantly (hey, it has Vinnie Jones in, so what are you expecting Shakespeare?!) you might find it entertaining for an hour and a half of bloodthirsty horror where vicious cannibals prey on some of the stupidest human survivors ever to be left alive.
a movie about how not to make a movie...By Cashogi (1 review) , 18 Oct 2011Unfortunately, I was silly enough to rent this movie without reading the reviews... what can I say?
I watched this with my girlfriend, and to quote her, 'That was like a movie about how not to make a movie'...
I gues that sums it up. It is really unbelievable that people can still make movies like this. Acting was ridiculously useless, characters were either unbelievably retarded, bad at acting or just impossible... There is no chracterization, as everyone is useless at everything one minute and terribly efficient at everything the next! I could go on, but there really is no point.
I really wonder which 'more-money-than-sense' individual agrees to sponsor films like this!
We need a minus rating system for this stuffBy a customer , 08 Jun 2011We need minus ratings for this kind of crap. Really who is making these poorly written, ill concieved, shoddily produced and basically lazy 'horror' movies? Did they really read the script and watch the rushes and go 'oooh! this is a masterpiece!' Lazy and dull witted but the trailer and the basic write -up fooled me; dont let it fool you. Get Love Film to stop stocking this trash and perhaps slovenly film-making will die back
don't botherBy smokeychops (670 reviews) from newcastle under lyme , 21 Feb 2011Really don't bother with this one ,it's a waste of a rental. Just the story was poor the acting even worse and didn't seem much point to all of this. Dull and pointless.
