A very disappointing filmBy PPi (1 review) , 25 Oct 2012
[Highly rated reviewer]The voices in the film were nothing like as good as the TV version. Surprisingly even the animation was inferior to the original. But worst of all, the story line was incomprehensible.

Childhood memories abused by poor Mexican rehashBy sammyl (18 reviews) from Bristol , 19 Sep 2013Poor Mexican (yes, really!) re-make of everyone's favourite TC. Voices are not the best (all bar one of the gang is voiced by the same guy - yes, really again!), the 'plot' is paper thin, and basically it draws out a 5mins cartoons for 90mins. So very long, very thin, very weak. The little charm that remains is purely based on nostalgia.
Extremely lameBy stuntbaby (1 review) , 18 Sep 2013Absolutely terrible, completely unfunny, very, very dissapointing. Watched about a third of it and then turned it off. I used to love the TVshow and was looking forward to this. Possibly the worst movie I've ever seen.
If you want to relive Top Cat don't watch thisBy snoochieb (2 reviews) from Sutton , 16 Aug 2013Imagine you loved a cartoon when you were a child, then imagine they made that cartoon you loved into a movie, lastly imagine that movie ruined everything you thought you loved about that cartoon....that is Top Cat.
Poor reflection of the originalBy a customer , 29 Jul 2013This is a Spanish made film with an English cast replacing the Spanish. If you have good memories of the old cartoon series and want to relive them this is not the film to do this.
Not sure why all the bad reviews?By twosoddingcats (269 reviews) from Kingston-upon-Thames , 22 Jul 2013I watched 'Top Cat' as a kid when I lived abroad and have fond memories of all the characters. Perhaps it wasn't shown on British TV hence the dire reviews regarding the film. The plot is ok, all the characters you know from the cartoon are here and there are some decent gags. Lighten up everyone!
