    [Highly rated reviewer]

This was an interesting movie in that it covers the development of martial art fighting in the movies and who the top people are.

But I did find it dragged. The narration was flat and very uninspiring. It is one of the few films where I did not watch to the end.

  • Poor Overview

As documentaries go this is a bit of a let down. Very so so. In its attempt to cover all aspects of the Martial Arts genre it stretches a little too far and leaves you with too many bits and no real substance. Not enough time is given to the real legends. The narration is listless, almost boring. There is plenty of action, but the likes of Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan and Sammo Hung get no special treatment. A poor show. At nearly two hours an oportunity to show off what this genre has to offer is wasted.
