Doing what they do best
By Peaksteve (11 reviews) , 15 Jun 2011[Highly rated reviewer]
Let's get one thing out of the way from the start - no-one is fooled into thinking that these aren't heavily scripted. But what does it matter? What we have here are three wonderfully-shot, massively entertaining road trips that are as much about the cars and scenery as they are about the three people driving them.
The picture and sound quality is excellent, as I have come to expect from BBC Blu-Ray releases. And the content is superb; I reckon that these are some of the best challenges that the Top Gear team has faced.
Simply, if you like the TV show, you'll love this - especially the few minutes of extra content that wasn't included in the TV broadcast of these adventures (presumably for reasons of time).- Was this review helpful to you?
