The funniest thing on television for months
this dvd is superb. the winter olympics special, is Top Gear at it's absolute best. there is some brilliant humour thrown in, which makes for a very good episode, brimming with entertainment.
there are some fantastic top gear moments. The dvd has some top events, including a jaguar taking on a speed skater, the mini ski jump and of course jeremy versus james in the biathlon.
Other features of the dvd include the stigs training regime and outtakes from the top gear series.
on this dvd, there are brilliant ideas, daring stunts and superb comedy, mixed together with cars and general top gear madness.
the dvd is filmed on location in the mountains of Lillehammer, in Norway.
well worth renting out.
I had rented this for my teenage sons as they are Top Gear fans but I found myself being dragged in. You don't need to be interested in the inner workings of a car engine or get excited by the sight of a race tuned lambo to enjoy this DVD. Watching Richard Hammond being frozen to the point of hypothermia for the sake of a test is entertainment enough for me. The general dry and sarcastic tone of the Top Gear boys (well they're not very grown up) keeps you laughing and makes a very enjoyable watch. I might even start watching it on the telly!!
