Age has not been kind to this movie for several reasons. It was released in the early days of DVD and as a result there are no extras, it is in standard 4:3 ratio and the transfer is not brilliant, being grainy in places. As an action film it is dated also, obviously being designed for TV release and therefore far more toned down than you'd expect from a modern action movie, the fight scenes being few and far between although quite competently handled when they are done. There is an air of 'cheapness' to this movie as well, even more so than you get with straight to DVD releases. Billy Banks is a pale shadow of the likes of Seagal and Van Damme and Roddy Piper is not called upon for any great feats of acting.
