This unusual Italian buddy movie features a two-fisted renegade ex-con priest, who's in Chicago to investigate a bank robbery. (Give it its due: bet you haven't seen that before). The cleric teams up with (South Park's Chef) Isaac Hayes who, besides turning in a well-judged performance, supplies a pretty listenable soundtrack. The dubbing detracts somewhat from the dialogue, but it's fast moving and efficient.

easy to watch, good laugh, good story line.
The teaming up of Burt Lancaster and Kirk Douglas seemed a good idea but the film falls apart after 15 minutes or so, due to a bad script. It then becomes a typical 80's buddy movie with a flat ending - It could have been a brilliant movie if it had a strong, funny script
