Toy Story is the first fully computer-generated full-length feature film.
Set in Andy's bedroom, before the family moves house, his mother decides to throw a birthday party for him. Led by Woody, Andy's toys are all worried that the new birthday presents will replace them and, with the help of Sarge and his platoon of plastic soldiers, the toys begin a mission to find out exactly what Andys gifts are. All is going well with Andy receiving board games and a lunch box, and the toys all breathe a sigh of relief as they think its all over. Until a special gift is pulled from the cupboard. Enter, Buzz Lightyear. Buzz quickly becomes unwanted competition in the Andys favourite toy race, and Woody wont take it lying down and sets out to prevent Buzz becoming number one. Whilst Woody is concentrating on his efforts against Buzz, they both miss the all important moving day.
Tom Hanks and Tim Allen provided excellent voices for Woody and Buzz Lightyear -their performances alone are one of the biggest things that made this such a spectacular movie. Besides that, though, you have the excellent story that is not only noteworthy because it has never really been told from this perspective before, but also because it was just told so well. The computer animation used for this movie not only made it startlingly realistic but also opened up tons of possibilities, and thankfully the filmmakers chose to explore these possibilities.
Toy story truly is the turning point of kids films. Great stuff
Toy Story is the first fully animated feature film, and by God is it a good one.

The sequel is also very amusing.
Toy Story has been voted the best animated film of all time by movie fans. The Disney classic, featuring voiceovers by Tim Allen and Tom Hanks, beat out competition from Shrek and The Lion King, which were named second and third favourites respectively. Fish adventure Finding Nemo came fourth, while Ice Age was voted fifth in the survey of 4,000 film buffs. A spokesperson for onepollcashback says, "Toy Story was loved by both the older and younger generations and will be viewed for many years... Read more
