In Sunset Boulevard fashion, recently killed cop James Belushi narrates the story of a serial killer with a penchant for Yves Saint Laurent lipstick and bad poetry. Unfortunately, any similarity between this erotic thriller and the classic 1950 drama ends with Belushi's voice-over, as the increasingly convoluted and implausible plot becomes interspersed with the standard mixture of soft-core porn and violence. The proceedings are elevated a little above the norm by a cast that includes Tony Goldwyn as Belushi's partner and a sexually ravenous Lorraine Bracco.
