Harrowing tale

Well acted, well directed film showing the darker side of the world. Some gritty scenes but spoilt by typical Holywood ending so just misses out on 5 stars. Well worth viewing.- Was this review helpful to you?

Hard hitting violent dramatization of the trafficking of very young girls from Mexico who are then sold into the USA often through internet auctions. A must see

Painfully adicitive to watch, a true and deeply gritty film!
By SecretFilmBuff (16 reviews) from Hornchurch, Essex , 03 Nov 2011It's not often that a film comes along that not only moves you but also makes you feel so much for the characters involved... the real painful subject matter of this film really can't be underestimated in the true message this film is there to to make the audience realise. Although some very lucky chance encounters that you cant help think where a little too simplistic for such a deep film, the overall feel of this film isnt ruined by it.
The choice of casting, general direction and plot lines comes together just amazingly well and is truely worth a watch. I was put off slightly by the subtitles shown in the trailer however hardly noticed and the plot was so engrossing.
I very much recommend this film and promise its worth a watch, just dont imagine every case ends in the same way...- Was this review helpful to you?

Must Watch

Whilst this film deals with the filthy side of human nature it is in fact a celebration of the human spirit. Harrowing at times, but good can prevail. Wonderful performances from everyone involved. Brilliant..well worth watching.

It kept me gripped from start to finish..even shed a little tear in parts. Gritting but realistic - its sad to think that htis goes on in our world today.
