Train Quest Details

Disappointing

Hard to know who this is aimed at - presumably children, although there are some references to 'hot babes'! The story is too ridiculous for anyone older.

I was attracted to it because I like model railways, although the layout in this is more of a 'toy train' layout rather than a realistic model, despite what the characters say.

It was apparently made in Romania, which may explain why the Romany style music over the opening & ending credits don't really match the film! I assume the budget was small, as almost all the film takes place inside a (small) model train shop and the layout. The effects are okay, but I couldn't see the point of the occasional scene where one or other of the characters talks directly to the camera, as if being interviewed.

Worth a look if you're curious (and the weird model train is quite interesting!).
