Trance

A gang of thieves led by Brendan (Neil Pearson) snatch a piece of art from a auction house, with the help of Tony, an employee. It's an inside job that shouldn't fail, but in the middle of the heist, Tony takes a blow to the head and wakes up with amnesia. Only Tony knows where the painting was stashed, and the gang grow more agitated with his failure to remember. As the gang start to doubt the authenticity of Tony's plight, they enrol the help of Sarah (Susannah Harker) a beautiful Hypnotist.

  I loved this film so much I bought it, it starts off fairly amicable but builds to a really tense final half hour. Good actors as well. Recommended.

  Just what the UK film industry should be making - sharp and engrossing drama - good to watch and no US obvious plots or canned laughter.
