Impressive collection of post-movie cartoons
By Faisal Khan from London , 07 Jun 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
The animation is pretty sketchy but this is really good collection of episodes set after the Movie as the Decepticons try to find Galvatron and the arrival of the Quintessons. This DVD has the 5 part series and 5 bonus episodes. Most are written by G.I.Joe writer Flint Dille so there's a lot of crazy humour. Not as addictive as the original series but waaay better than the Takara stuff. Enjoy!- Was this review helpful to you?

Follow-up from movie
By Paul Martin from Cornwall, UK , 01 Oct 2005The events in this series takes place straight after the end of the movie. I'd say this is essential viewing for any transformers fan as it explains a lot about the history of the autobots and decepticons before the war started. Saying that though you're better off getting Season 3 and 4 boxset as all five of these episodes feature at the start of the collection.
What disappointed me was the hit-and-miss animation. The animators and artists couldn't seem to do fast-paced action scenes very well. When they get it right though the scenes do look good.- Was this review helpful to you?
