    [Highly rated reviewer]

The game is far too simple like the first transformers game it lacks moves a simple 1 button to attack and 1 button to shoot from a game that has the potential that this one does is a big let down it looks the part but overall a big let down. The voices weren't the most accurate either which was a bit of a turn off. MUST DO BETTER!

  • So it's a movie game...

Well not really. It has practically nothing to do with it's namesake film, except that it has Transformers in it.

You pick a bot and get dropped into the instantly bland cityscape, where you cavort around pumping round after round into nameless Decepticons until your eyes go square. Then you do it again. And again.

Sometimes you have to escort someone, or destroy a certain object but it's all just frills; like putting a hat on a dog and thinking that makes it more than just a dog in a hat.

Transforming is ok and there's some mindless fun to be had but don't expect anything that'll blow you away.

Beware the changes made from the first one. Loved the longevity of the first tie in....though just like the first one, for some reason the Decepticon campain grows a little frustrating.

This game is pure and simple. after achievements then you can get at least 600 to 700 gamerscor ejust playing through the game. the buttons are rather easy and you can tell the game was rushed due to the tie in with the film. all in all worth a play through if your indeed a transformers fan like me. but if you want a real game to play i suggest to play the transformers War For Cybertron is much more of a worked title. 6/10

I actually quite enjoyed this, although its quite a straight forward and simple game at heart. The robots look good and its fun blasting all the different enemies to pieces. Its a good rental game as it shouldn't take you too long to finish each campagain. The most annoying bit i find was the flying parts, part from that controlling the robots is easy. Overall a simple fun game.
