Marred by a Terrible Camera.

The game is good in principal - you get to play it through as either the good guys, or the bad guys, each of which has a really distinct feel to the game. You get to play hulking transforming robots, that can pick up nearly anything big in the game (including giant dougnuts from the tops of buildings) and swing or throw these at your foes. You get to roam relatively freely around the landscape and climb over or destroy the buildings.
However, the game is severly let down by a couple of limiting factors. The biggest problem of all, is the camera. As it's controlled by the IR pointer in the Wii mote, you have to slowly and carefully point the wii mote at the edge of the screen to move the camera, not the easiest thing in the world to do when you're madly waving it around fighting hand to hand. This problem alone brings the game to it's knee's, making it awful to control and enjoy. Otherwise, there are some minor problems such as not being able to leave a certain zone, but sometimes the bad guy you want is outside of that zone so you get a warning telling you to return to the game area.
It's worth having a bit of a play with if you can't find much else whilst waiting for new releases, as it has a few unique and cool properties. But don't expect to keep it for more than a few days, as the camera will drive you insane.- Was this review helpful to you?

Good fun
By a customer from Oxford , 13 Sep 2009I know people don't like the way the camera behaves on this but you do get used to it after a while. We really enjoy playing this as you can play as an autobot or decepticon. It is tricky and we have bought it as the instructions are helpful. if you like transformers it is very enjoyable.- Was this review helpful to you?

Rubbish
By a customer from Okehampton , 03 Mar 2009Loaned this game to evaluate before buying. Unfortunately I could not part with the cash to buy the game. Controls are awkward which spoilt the game.
