You've got the touch!!
By Faisal Khan from London , 07 Jun 2005[Highly rated reviewer]
Orson Welles, Leonard Nimoy, Robert Stack and the regular Trasnformers cast in a beautifully animated adventure. Violent for the series and maybe a little upsetting for younger viewers especially existing fans this breaks off the old 80's series into the new adventures of Kup, Ultra Magnus etc. It also has an excellent 80's rock soundtrack. Watch 5 Faces of Darkness and the Rebirth after this for a night of pure Transformers pleasure.- Was this review helpful to you?

one of the best animated movies of the 80's
By DxT (11 reviews) from Milton Keynes , 28 Sep 2011Im gonna start with this..
I LOVE TRANSFORMERS. im a huge fan. A lot of my school friends were into them, a lot of people that are 20-35 will have grown up to love them.
The movie itself, rather cheesy now you look back, music is outdated but rocks. Stan Bush is a legend. Many of the characters in this movie are in the micheal bay transformer trilogy. My kids love this film as i do. Watching this will bring back your childhood memorys when you use to play as optimus prime ;-)
Digimon? ben 10 who? not even in the same league as this..
enjoy one of the best animated movies of the 80's- Was this review helpful to you?

I just turned 8 again
By tkettle (8 reviews) from Taunton , 01 Aug 2011I have got to admit if I had seen this movie for the first time now, I would be wondering where my life has just gone. However I saw this when I was young and I loved it and got hooked.
After watching it again recently I have to say I wasn't dissapointed, it was just how I remembered the film and compared to cartoon films of that era this one is so much better.
The cast line up is awesome, music is well 80's and it's a typical 80's cartoon and the story keeps you watching. I think the people who have not liked this film forget that it was made in the 80's and just lack the imagination to be that young child they once were.- Was this review helpful to you?
