    [Highly rated reviewer]

Could this finally be the transformers game that breaks the mould and be the 1st one that does the license justice?

After reading a few reviews I thought yes this could be it, a third person shooter in the original G1 transformers world.

I was expecting full on action with Autobots and Decepticons in the battles that started it all. I had seen comparisons with games like Modern Warfare and Star Wars Battlefront but at the bottom of one review I saw something else....

The wii version is not the same game as the 360 and PS3 version! I was expecting the graphics to be different and maybe slightly less distruction but I was not expecting a different kind of game.

Instead of the all action 3rd person shooter which showed so much promise, us poor wii owners end up with a rail shooter. Its fun for a couple of hours but then the games over and all that is left is a feeling of been short changed.

I'm not dissapointed in the game, its a very good rail shooter, many similarities with Time Crisis. However I'm very disappointed in the developers for not having the faith in the wii to produce the same version of the game on all formats.

The wii is a good little machine and it does 3rd person very well when it is given the chance. So I don't understand why its treated like the poor relation when it comes to the big games.

I will try the PS3 version later in the year but for now I've lost faith in Hasbro, I thought they would of kept the fans happy.
