Ridiculously entertaining sequel is that rare part deux that leaves you hankering for part trois
...its still a great movie. This is action sandwiched between two chunky slices of action with a little action as a side order. Jason Statham is cool, calm and collected as the main character, the bad guy is bad, the sidekick is french and the bad girl is sexy. Do you need to know any more? If you enjoyed Transporter you'll enjoy Transporter 2. In fact if you love any kind of blockbuster action, especially Jet Li/Jackie Chan, this is the movie for you. My only criticism is that in comparison to the first one its far too unbelievable (some of the stunts will make you laugh out loud and shout 'awww what?!!!') and also its too short at only 1hr 17mins. But apart from that, if you want a no brainer with plenty of style, this is your fella. Enjoy!
If you're in the mood for some no-brainer action then this is the film for you, although the totally implausible yet audacious stunts may have you screaming at the screen. The fact that it heavily 'borrows' it's only bit of plot from the excellent Man on Fire reminds you how good it isn't. That said, it can be an enjoyable ride.
Imagine Jason Bourne in stretchy pants. That's the basic idea in Marvel's relaunch for Stan Lee's Jekyll and Hyde character.
