Most helpful review
No extras

Very good film, which I've seen before. Wanted to rent the DVD to see what extras were on it. Answer - NONE. AT ALL. And the film itself is not even in widescreen. Very poor effort.- Was this review helpful to you?

(18)Lounge And Watch
By buffyrules (335 reviews) from southend on sea , 10 Jan 2012Excellent film with a stellar cast and wonderful soundtrack-The Ink Spots are worth checking out too. Yes it meanders a little but the likes of Jarmusch have made careers on this type of film. Highly enjoyable.- Was this review helpful to you?

Buscemi - sleazy yet vulnerable...
By a customer from London , 13 Nov 2010I really like Steve Buscemi and in this he is in typically 'sleazy yet vulnerable' character mode. The story is slow, but very entertaining - loved it.- Was this review helpful to you?

I loved this film
By a customer from London , 16 Sep 2010Even though I had so many technical hitches with the slow download on viewing this film, I just didn't want to stop watching despite it loading every few minutes until it stopped completely half way through. It's quietly profound viewing. I'd like to say more about it, but it would be a spoiler.- Was this review helpful to you?

Like watching trees grow ... in slow mo!
By BigMeUp (281 reviews) from Midlands, UK , 03 Sep 2010Or, like watching paint dry ... in a dark room. Or, like painting gloss on rice ... one at a time. Or, like counting pebbles on a beach ... blindfold.
It's like being chased by a fat, ugly girl ... who's friend's with a beautiful girl you really like.
This film is dull excreta.- Was this review helpful to you?

A Slacker's Tale
By Cato (705 reviews) from Lydbury North , 12 Jun 2010A very good directorial debut from Steve Buscemi. This is a good little film with Buscemi also acting the sort of part he obviously relished, that of a no-hope slacker for whom everything goes calamitously wrong. There's a good deal of what I suppopse you could call comic pathos in this modern tale of the nihilistic slacker generation. It would be interesting to see Buscemi's directing/writing career really taking off in the future.- Was this review helpful to you?
