    An Emotionally Moving Masterpiece

This family drama has everything, from unforgettable scenes to some of the most beautiful songs ever written. From the acclaimed director that brought you film such as ‘Kabhi Kabhi’ and ‘Deewar’ (which were two of the biggest hindi films of the 70’s that helped launch actor Amitabh Bachchan’s career into Superstardom) comes this movie about revenge and family ties.

It really is a touching film.

    Classic Amitabh

Good storyline, with a majestic performance from the king of Bollywood himself, AMITABH BACHHAN, he hasn't been placed in Madam Tussauds for nothing you know!!!!!!

    Deserved more than 5 stars

With a combination of fine actors and actresses this movie is simply excellent.

Sanjeev and Amitabh were fanastic in this movie not much scope for Hema in this one.

The first song by Waheeda was actually featured in the movie Dhadkan when Sharmlia is listening to the radio. The songs were good.

Once again Bollywood do not make films like this classic one.

This movie is defo one of AB's finest. Much better than Zanjeer.

    Faulty Subtitles

I'd like to give a good review, because I can see it's a fine film. However, the DVD only shows the bottom line of the subtitles, so I haven't a clue what is happening. Very frustrating.
