It's been 28 long years but Tron is back, and so is the mighty Jeff Bridges.

(414)Fantastic soundtrack and great visuals, but that's it.
By Superdan (10 reviews) , 14 May 2013[Highly rated reviewer]
When I saw this film in the cinema I must admit I went into it with very high expectations, so it might be quite a harsh thing to say that I was considerably disappointed. Don't get me wrong - overall it was visually awesome and the soundtrack by Daft Punk was flawless - but the film really did not have much to offer in terms of narrative. The story just seemed unimaginative in my opinion; there wasn't much to it. This film is definitely worth a watch though, and I'd watch it again just because of the fact that its a 'fun' film and the score is one of the best I've heard. However, 'TRON: Legacy' probably isn't a title you'd want to add to your Christmas list.- Was this review helpful to you?

If you loved the first, you'll like this too
By CatFitz (7 reviews) , 08 May 2013If you've seen the original, this is like meeting up with an old friend and reminiscing on the good times. Jeff Bridges is pretty much the coolest man on the planet and pulls this off effortlessly, and Garrett Hedlund does a very good job as his son. What is actually going on beyond the surface story of it being a rescue mission does get a bit hazy - sometimes it felt like Blade Runner rather than the inside of a computer, especially when you have a computer programme running a nightclub, but for the most part you just go along with it and marvel at the younger CGI face of Bridges.- Was this review helpful to you?

Jeff Bridges and Daft Punk make this special
By ScifiAnnie (8 reviews) , 23 Mar 2013Loved the film, but the music lifted it out of the ordinary run of special effects films, though those were impressive. I love Jeff Bridges..he owns the screen when he's there. Whoever thought of giving the responsibility of the score to Daft Punk made a master move.- Was this review helpful to you?

A great Legacy
By gmakin (3 reviews) from Liverpool , 14 Mar 2013The best looking and sounding science fiction film since Blade Runner. Like that movie, this is destined for cult classic status. A must-see if you like the genre.- Was this review helpful to you?
