THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS Show review anywayHide

    Love-the-show & of-course Eliza Dushku; young 'girl' hopes-to earn-money to cover college & living-expenses; her 'placement' falls-through & she accepts 'fall-back' working-nights in-the-morgue.

    Hearing-voices she initially-believes she-is the-victim of-a practical-joke. The first-corpse is that-of a beautiful-waitress 'abused' by-a violent-&-married 'boyfriend'.

    Eliza's 'gift' is-to 're-live the-day'; building-knowledge she attempts-to prevent-death despite-the-efforts 'of-others'.

  • Well worth watching right to the end.

I have just watched this series from beginning to end for the second time and am just as disappointed that Tru Calling was cancelled after only 6 episodes of Series 2.

Don't be put off by this. The introduction of Jack towards the end of Series 1, ( and other 'opposing characters' in series 2) adds an edge to Series 2 and I think makes it better than Series 1.

When a series is abruptly cancelled sometimes the final episode can be disappointing. Not in this case, there is an unusual twist to the plot and a final scene that while having the feel of a series that will return, does make sense.

Sadly, of course, we have to imagine how the story would have developed rather than watching it play out on screen.

Stumbled across this very late one night when an episode was shown on sky. If you like Medium & Ghost whisperer then this is for you!

Easy to watch with good story lines, I cannot believe that they didnt make another series of this programme. Based around a girl that lost her mum at a young age she has had to be tough she gets a job at a mortuary to pay her way through med school, she discovered that some of the bodies reach out for her for help.

Then she finds herself back in her bed with the alarm going off & this is where the fun begins!!

I loved this series giving it MAXIMUM stars !

Well thank you Eliza Dushku, for playing such an interesting character in a fine series! If you love sci-fi you will love TRU CALLING,where Eliza plays Tru a girl who starts off studying to be a doctor, but ends up saving the people of NY,thanks to her gift of being able to re-live days when the dead ask her for help.I recommend this series wholeheartedly.
