It's perfectly clear from the outset of this by-the-numbers drama what will happen when two law students graduate and go their own ways, one to the Justice Department where spotless behaviour is seemingly the norm, the other into the moral sewer of politics. It's a pity that fine actors like John Cusack and James Spader are defeated by the all-too-obvious plot, yet both leads bring enough energy and detail to their roles to provide some interest.

True Colors - bit of a let down

Very average movie in which both John Cusack & James Spader were wasted. I'm surprised these 2 very talented actors, (especially Cusack) wasted their time on this one to be honest.

    bad bad bad

you would think that James Spader and John Cusack are good actors - but obviously they hadn't yet gone to drama school when they did that movie! I didn't watch it to the end - complete waste of time.
