This is about the life of President Truman. Sinise does a great job, as always, but the movie never moves from the TV docudrama to a movie that manages to capture real people. The poor makeup does not help at all, for the actors' faces fail to express any emotions. All in all, a movie I cannot recommend.
Actor James Whitmore has died of lung cancer, aged 87. The Emmy and Tony award winning star was diagnosed with the illness in November (08) and passed away on Friday (06Feb09) afternoon at his home in Malibu, California.
