Most helpful review
Astute, deliberate, brilliantly crafted
By a customer , 25 May 2012[Highly rated reviewer]
This is a beautifully crafted account of the impact of an affair on marriage of a comfortably-off banker and his family.
Every performance is faultless with not an emotional hair out of place, in this astutely observed and very deliberately paced narrative. The story is one of devastation but the damage is revealed at the pace of a slow-moving catastrophe - not a drama, but a tragedy for sure. This is a film that will appeal to fans of ' A Separation' or 'Climates'.- Was this review helpful to you?

(4)Bland and beautiful
By Andrews (63 reviews) from London , 10 Nov 2012Brutally honest, harrowing account of the emotional damage caused by one unfaithful husband. Those who complain of the movie being bland have missed the point. This is realism, and real life is often bland. But scratch the surface just a bit and there are worlds of intense emotional truth at play - and when the surface is torn apart... well, the results are as far from bland as anything I've seen on film for quite a while. Tuesday After Christmas has lots going for it - but if I had to choose one reason for watching it, it would be the wonderful performances of the three leads. This is proper acting. If any of these actors were British or American they'd be household names and have oscars up the ying yang - they are just absolutely brilliant. Highly recommended to anyone who likes an intense, subtle, grown-up film about real people with real problems.- Was this review helpful to you?

I guess Tuesday will be straining
By a customer , 02 Aug 2012The only good thing about this film is when their relationship implodes.
The scene is very well acted and I expected so much more after the longueur. I was unable to hide my disappointing when the film ended very abruptly into banality.- Was this review helpful to you?

A slight, sketchy drama - disappointing
By a customer from London, England , 30 May 2012This is a Romanian drama about marital infidelity. It focuses on a limited scenario as the infidelity is dislosed.
The production and acting performances are fine as far as they go, but the characters are not developed much or drawn with much depth and the whole effect came across as a rather superficial snapshot - unsatisying as a result.- Was this review helpful to you?
