    high note

Twenty Bucks is an innocuous B movie that features cameos from actors who are now A list fixtures. The eponymous currency is the motif for the story, and the action follows its circular path as it touches the lives of the characters. The film is worth renting to see Christopher Lloyd and Steve Buscemi team up to rob gas stations. The latter is at his frenetic best while Lloyd plays the deadpan professional. It is an entertaining movie that could please a wide audience with its blend of bathos and .humour.
