Described by some as a Welsh Trainspotting, this muddled, Swansea-set black comedy does share some superficial law-breaking similarities, but has none of the style, energy or invention of that movie. Real-life brothers Llyr Evans and Rhys Ifans (Notting Hill) are manic, moral-free young criminals who exact revenge when their builder father is refused compensation for an accident at work. There's no shortage of candid sex, drugs and rock 'n' roll (from top Welsh bands, naturally), but the fun soon drains away and the tone turns really nasty.

I think I'm missing the appreciation gene for Brit Comedies. The film did have amusing parts to it and the acting itself was fine.... but the film ended and I felt like I'd had a dose of despression!
This is a great film,not for those of a sensitive nature, being loaded with swearing and drug references.Peel away these contentious points and you have a witty comedy/drama with a great ending.
Its British so don't expect any Lucasfilms CGI but it's what we do best, strong characters and storyline. A definate thumbs up
