Here's one of those rare things: a one-joke comedy that actually works. Danny DeVito plays the dim-witted scuzzball who discovers naive, intelligent Arnold Schwarzenegger is his genetically engineered brother. Comic moments abound as the odd couple team up to find their long-lost mom — Arnie's first awkward attempts at romance with Kelly Preston (now Mrs John Travolta) is a highlight. DeVito is on form and Arnie shows he can handle comedy, although when the pair (and director Ivan Reitman) teamed up again for Junior, the result wasn't quite as successful.

Amusing, if sometimes ponderous, comedy with the joke depending on the physical disparity of its two protagonists.

    TOP MOVIE !!!

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito team up for the first time, the second being Junior. An experiment to create the worlds perfect man produces Julius Benedict, Arnold, who is raised up on a secluded island to become perfect in mind, body and soul. But certain complications in the process produced a twin brother as the rejected genes of the experiment split from the perfect genes. When Julius is told about his twin brother he sets off to America to find him.

In America we find Vincent Benedict, DeVito, on the run from loan sharks whom he owes some $20,000. Due to this, Vincent, with the aid of his car park attendant friend, steals some expensive car in exchange for money. Returning to his car one night, Vincent receives a parking fine and is soon taken to jail for having 200 outstanding fines.

Julius finally finds Vincent in jail and seizing the opportunity, Vincent uses Julius to bail him out. But trying to lose Julius is pretty hard when he is so determined to get to know his brother and soon the duo are working together to help Vincent 'find rich cars and auction them off for charity'.

After finding a new cadilac, the twins unknowingly stumble across some important equipment. When Vincent is contacted about the goods he attempts to negotiate for $20,000 not knowing that his mysterious phone friend is talking millions.

Vincent attempts to take the car to his payee and doesn't tell anyone about his holiday. Julius wants to tag along as he feels it would be a good chance to look for their mother who they thought died at birth. The twins girlfriends tag along, loan sharks in tow and a hitman after 'his' million dollars fee.

    DeVito scared by killer scorpion

    • 20 Jun 2009

A terrified Danny Devito feared he was staring death in the face when he came across a killer scorpion in his bedroom during a recent vacation in Costa Rica. The pint-sized Twins star was warned about one particular poisonous stinger before his trip - and couldn't believe it when he found the creature scuttling across his floor. He says, "They say these things (scorpions) will get into your clothes, you gotta check your boots... Some of them are, like, little tiny things that can't hurt you... Read more
