TOP MOVIE !!!

Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito team up for the first time, the second being Junior. An experiment to create the worlds perfect man produces Julius Benedict, Arnold, who is raised up on a secluded island to become perfect in mind, body and soul. But certain complications in the process produced a twin brother as the rejected genes of the experiment split from the perfect genes. When Julius is told about his twin brother he sets off to America to find him.
In America we find Vincent Benedict, DeVito, on the run from loan sharks whom he owes some $20,000. Due to this, Vincent, with the aid of his car park attendant friend, steals some expensive car in exchange for money. Returning to his car one night, Vincent receives a parking fine and is soon taken to jail for having 200 outstanding fines.
Julius finally finds Vincent in jail and seizing the opportunity, Vincent uses Julius to bail him out. But trying to lose Julius is pretty hard when he is so determined to get to know his brother and soon the duo are working together to help Vincent 'find rich cars and auction them off for charity'.
After finding a new cadilac, the twins unknowingly stumble across some important equipment. When Vincent is contacted about the goods he attempts to negotiate for $20,000 not knowing that his mysterious phone friend is talking millions.
Vincent attempts to take the car to his payee and doesn't tell anyone about his holiday. Julius wants to tag along as he feels it would be a good chance to look for their mother who they thought died at birth. The twins girlfriends tag along, loan sharks in tow and a hitman after 'his' million dollars fee.- Was this review helpful to you?

(18)Twins: one of a kind
By TheWatchman (491 reviews) from Suburbia , 25 Feb 2011Big Arnies first foray away from slugging monsters and making laughs was a success. Your opinion on him may well taint your view as to how well he kept up this more family-friendly persona carried on.
Over twenty years on and Twins is still fun to watch. If you dont already know and Im guessing there must be at least one of you Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito are twins, separated at birth and raised radically differently. By meeting up, they meet women, track down their ancestors and Arnie slaps a few bad guys just for good measure.
You could say the story is formulaic and predictable, but, if you said that, you obviously dont have much of a sense of humour. Twins is one of those rare one-joke films that actually stands up to stretching itself out for the whole hour and a half.
I may be being sentimental. I was twelve when I first saw it, but I found it as charming today as to when my dad first took me and my friends to see it at the long lost Odeon cinema.
Its great. Everythings great and youll feel great after watching it. Now, just dont mention their other effort, Junior.- Was this review helpful to you?

TWINS
By Cornetto (959 reviews) from Lancaster , 05 May 2007Twins is a bit of a daft comedy, not to be taken seriously, light family-type entertainment. A physically perfect, but innocent, man goes in search of his twin brother, who is a short small-time crook.- Was this review helpful to you?
