Sombre and boring.....

Goodness! This is possibly the most depressing film I have ever seen and it's supposed to be a story about a man torn between two lovers! Sombre and extremely boring...I would say avoid this film like the plague.- Was this review helpful to you?

Bittersweet & slow

For those who have received love and not really reciprocated it. A slightly disappointing ending with Paltrow's character but otherwise a very solid film- Was this review helpful to you?

Obvious all the way through
By Katy_B (1 review) , 17 Mar 2012I wouldn’t recommend this film....nothing more to say other than I was so bored all I could think about was what Joaquin Phoenix wore throughout this movie and that it reminded me of the 90’s...BAD FASHION! The movie isn’t even set in that decade! Totally predictable. I would say however that despite the dire storyline, the acting is still good.
