A piece of art

Remarkable and depressing

Uncomfortable at times but superb and very thought provoking
By Bigal9 (4 reviews) , 28 Apr 2013There are some brutal and uncomfortable moments sure, but it was very absorbing and the twist at the end really raises questions about sterotypes and prejudging society's moral values. Brialliantly observed and produced. Unfortunately, my wife thought she was getting a romcom but in spite of the uncomfortable bits was deeply drawn in.- Was this review helpful to you?

More Jurassic then Spielberg !
By a customer , 28 Apr 2013Kitchen sink that doesn't get more gritty than this. A powerhouse performance from everyone involved, especially Oliva Coleman. How she didn't get an Oscar for this is beyond me. A great directing debut from Paddy Consindine, hopefully more like this in the pipeline.- Was this review helpful to you?
