This had got to be in the middle really as i couldnt get into it..although saying that i watched it to the end due to the superb way in which it has been filmed. The story line is alright, but the explaination and the educating part is really good in all honesty. If you have recently purchased a 3D T.V, then rent this out and it will amaze you as to how good your T.V auctually is, it has some slow 3D scenes in which you can really look at the detail.

Brilliant filming, but let down by some technical problems. Some scenes show good 3D but some are artificially created (clearly 'converted' using software that uses guesswork !!). You need two images, one for each eye....but sometimes there are ghosts giving too many images, producing a confused picture. These guys could do a brilliant job, but they need better equipment and technical knowledge.

  • Nice shoots but no 3D effects

Rented this film just to try 3D effects. Nothing special in terms of 3D effects at all, nothing popping out from TV, just deepness. Film ok, some good shots and really beautiful scenery. But, 2 stars as nothing special...

  • 3D Bliss in Tahiti

This truly is a gorgeously filmed presentation about laid back life in Tahiti and a surfer's attempt to get the ultimate wave -in 3D.

Everything about the locations -underwater filming exceptional indeed -especialy the coral and marine life.

To the incredible filming of the surfer(s) cresting waves/in the 'pipe' and the super slow-motion, was everything that is positively good about 3D.

The sense of 'being there', was carried over first class.

Now if only Blue Planet etc was done like this...and we could afford to live there! Till then, 3D is the nearest to truly being there.

THis was just something I bought because wanted to try out another 3D Blu Ray. Some of the 3D is bad, some is experimental and some is actually quite good if you're looking for a visual feast. If you're into surf, I think you'll enjoy this movie more, but that much should be clear from the title.

Overall... glad I rented it but I don't think I'll boher buying it.
