    [Highly rated reviewer]

The sleeve the disc came has the genre listed as Comedy, no way, this is a very strange film which for 70 minutes kept me enthralled but once I twigged what the end was I then got annoyed with the performance of the Uncle David which to me was still too one dimensional and repetitious. Ashley Ryder showed some very nice touches in his role as the nephew. My regret was not watching the 3 short scenes in the extras section first which would have helped understanding some of the action at the beginning of the film.

Awful. The attempt to ad lib around a basic script just doesn't work. Without doubt the worst film I have seen.

No plot, No context. Pointless film. Don't bother. Depressing from the start and does not get any better. Don't know what they were thinking about. Really, don't bother with this one!

Very boring and uninteresting, just not funny. Something quite seedy about it. It was a complete load of tosh and after fifteen minutes I wished both of them got run over by a bus or the caravan disappeared in puff of smoke. Self indulgent dribble by Mr Hoyle. Why do people like Mr Hoyle make such daft inane films?

Seems you'll either love or hate this film. It's a dark voyeuristic trip with a twisted uncle and manipulated teenager. The outcome is inevitable and depressing but there is something mesmerising about this film. The photography is great and the soundtrack fantastic and it's a shame that there are no credits for the tracks, (spent most of a sunday afternoon trying to track them down with no success. Even the Boy George Track 'Spoiling it for Others' is unavailable). If you want an uplifting film this is not for you but if you want to sit in an old caravan on the Isle of Sheppy watching a disturbed control freak then this is the film for you. I loved it!

  • Really Painful

This could be, along with I Love Trouble starring Nick Nolte, the worst film I have ever watched.

It is just completely pointless. I'm annoyed at myself for watching to the end to see what happened.

If you have just painted a wall, spend an hour or so watching that instead.
