[Highly rated reviewer]This film had some potential as a new take on the zombie genre but for reasons that are perhaps difficult to define, failed to deliver. The special effects are patchy and clearly indicate the low budget but such problems can be overcome with a sharp and well-written script. Unfortunately, although the film is clearly intended to follow in the footsteps of 'Shaun of the Dead', 'Undead' and perhaps even 'Planet Terror' it lacks the inventiveness of these films and one is left regretting the lost opportunity. Zombie completists will have to see it of course, but for those who are not hard-core aficionados it may have limited appeal.

this is one hell of a zomedyBy muggs (175 reviews) from Lincoln , England , 04 Mar 2010This film was directed by the guy who directed season 6 of south park so as comedy goes thats one hell of a cv .This is the first cowboy zombie or horror film iv ever seen and its a great one .There are alot of reasons films go straight to dvd , merchandiseing for one but alot of films that do make the cinema dont deserve there place there , this film was straight to dvd and it should have gone to the cinema because its as good as shaun of the dead or slither and its as good a horror as any iv seen in the cinema, great comedy good actors and above average effects .top film
Didn't know what to expect...By JimiTheSaint (61 reviews) from London , 29 Jul 2009I rented this because I thought the premise would write itself but the film maker still manages to miss the mark. So much more could of been done than this knockabout comedy nonsense. Don't get me wrong, I think comedy certainly has a place in this genre, but this comes across as amateur or made by students (although the film making itself is still very good.) Check out Cannibal:The Musical to see how films like this should be done.
To summarise I would say some laughs, more groans, poor script, adequate execution.
I wouldn't bother unless you're truly bored or (like me) just had to see it because the idea just sounds so perfect...
What the hell was that?By Geoffers (85 reviews) from Shrewsbury , 25 Jul 2009This is probably the first ever comedy zombie western - and it is no good at any of them! Don't bother.
