Oh my....By Viv Stafford from Coventry, UK , 13 Oct 2005
[Highly rated reviewer]This movie is like the world's longest shaggy dog story. I still can't make up my mind exactly *how* tongue-in-cheek it was meant to be. The cop is like the smaller member of Hale and Pace, and acts just like him - eyes wide open gazing vacantly off to one side to indicate horror.. When the (unintentionally) funny punchline comes, it is so awful it becomes hysterical...
Having said that, Rothrock is superb. She gets a lot of chances to show off her speed and agility, and it's worth watching this dog of a movie for that alone. It's just a shame that the production around her was so awful.
Should not have been madeBy a customer , 27 Oct 2011This has got to be ther worst film I have ever watched.
The plot of the film, could have been written on the back of a Train ticket,The acting of the cast was a joke. The background music was so bad,you was better off watching this film, with the mute button on.
I would also like to say, this is my own personal option, and I have been in the past.See for yourself .
Undefeatabley GreatBy whoisfinn (1 review) from Sunderland , 07 Sep 2011Awsomely bad movie, which makes it excellent. Terrible acting and rape scene, but matched against a crazy bad guy and the best fight scene in a movie ever this is a must see movie for action fans.
If your a fan of No Retreat No Surrender movies you'll lap this up.
Ana, Mommy, Ana, Mommy...By MarcelR (3 reviews) from London , 14 Apr 20091st tip: ignore any review that places this with less than three stars.
2nd tip: diengage brain.
Undefeatable is a product of bad timing: made 10 years after unrealistic action movies and 10 years before it all became ironic.
I'll hold my hands up, Undefeatable is truly awful. Rothrock can't act, the antagonist has a quite the mullet and the cop/semi-love interest...well, see for yourself, plus it looks as if it was made on the budget of a second-class stamp.
Yet it's funny, hilarious even. I'm still unsure how a director could make a film so bad; a one-eyed dog could have done a better job.
3rd tip: 'Ana' I'd avoid boyfriends that call you 'Mommy' in future. It's a bit weird and I'm sure it would have spared a few flowery dress wearing brunettes (or suddenly redheads - depending on the plot hole in the film) lives.
DreadfulBy a customer from Brighton , 06 Jun 2008Dreadful dreadful dreadful film. That's right it's dreadful.
Action Packed!By dragon65 (7 reviews) from Manchester , 19 Dec 2007I like this kind of marshal arts film - just loads of action and a BIG baddie to defeat. I think I have seen this on TV before, I started remembering if once I saw the baddie. This baddie is particularly tough and a gruesome and hard to kill (not a reference to Steven Seagal's film!)
Good it like marshal arts action and Cynthia Rothrock is in good form.
